The bid for Improvements to Mageira Street was awarded to Lucas Construction Group on September 30, 2016. Improvements included:
- Mill and Pave and Top Coat from Whitehead Avenue to East Street
- More than 300 tons of Asphalt
- Pavement Removal
- Curbing
